Volunteering

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Karuna Foundation, and it's fun! There are a variety of tasks and activities that require volunteer assistance. The biggest (& in my opinion, most fun) job is helping to keep the Karuna Sanctuary Retreat Centre maintenance and environment in a safe and manageable state.

We regularly hold working bee weekends, where volunteers are welcomed to come to the Centre in the Blue Mountains for a day (or two, if you like) or whatever time can be spared to help with facility maintenance and bush management jobs. It's a great way to get out into the Australian bush, with old friends and new, and to enjoy making a difference so that we can continue to host safe project camps and programs at the Sanctuary.

If you would like to get involved in Volunteering with us, simply fill the form below.

We'll let you know when volunteering opportunities arise. We'll also post them here & on Facebook, so keep an eye out.
