Fundraising Lunch 2022
Hello beautiful friends,
I hope and pray you've been safe and coping well with Covid-19 challenges.
During the Covid19 restrictions and lockdown, the Karuna foundation could not organise large gatherings. Still, today, we would like to invite you to a fundraising event at the Phuong restaurant in Crows Nest, outside the table settings, on Sunday the 13th of Feb.
Borrowing this opportunity, I want to thank you for the last successful fundraising event at the same restaurant in Feb 2019. We enjoyed fantastic Vietnamese food with Jenny's mum. We raised enough funds to purchase many lotus plants for the Karuna Lotus Pond through events and donations. As you can see below, I captured a pink lotus representing purity, transformation and beauty within
The aim this time is to purchase a new trampoline and paints to brighten up existing play facilities. We had to remove the dangerous old one for the safety of children. (If you are interested in working bee to paint, please join us during the weekend of 19/20 March.)
Please come along with your family and friends to help raise funds for a new trampoline, and have a good time with yummy food catching up with friends of the Karuna community.
Date and Time: Sunday 13th February 2022 at 1.00pm
Venue: Phuong Restaurant, 87 Willoughby Road, Crows Nest
Bank details: The Karuna Foundation Children's Fund

Thank you. We are looking forward to seeing you. 😊🌈💖

Lotus flowers can also bring Hope and Spiritual Inspiration to people.
Our Hope is that those children who have disadvantaged background and have gone through difficulties, like living in the muddy water, will be encouraged to grow towards their hopes and possibilities by realising their ability to rise above their adversities. With guidance and care, they may be able to bloom just like a lotus.
Our vision is that the Lotus Pond can provide all visitors an environment where they can reflect on their spirituality and nurture a sense of purity and be inspired to be just like a lotus.
You are warmly invited to join our upcoming fundraising lunch, in support of the Project, starting with a New Year gathering. You will enjoy a delicious Vietnamese feast, in February 2019. Please save the date.
